HA is a One Woman Show.
HA is the voice of the dead, cast up by the sea on dry shores, telling the stories of those
unjustly killed in war and articulating the reality that chaotically accumulates in our bodies
and minds and has no form of release. In the most critical and tragic places and cities of the
world, "HA" appears - a sound that reminds us of reality.
The form of the performance was completely determined by the specific exercises and
method that the director Sandro Kalandadze has been working on lately and whose main
principle is breathing and sound.
Review
Director Sandro Kalandadze's mono play-performance - "HA" - is a fragment, a sketch, a "key" of the concept
or an extensive episode of the future "Hamlet" (the play in which everyone dies), connected to it by invisible
threads, associatively and with a deeply hidden subtext. However, at the same time, performance is completely
independent. Artistic experiment as a continues monologue is a new expressive form achieved by voice
(voices), sound, voice modulation, breathing, breath maneuvering using peculiar exercises(if we can call such a
text and such a manner of speaking the text, traditionally, a monologue),
"Ha", on the text of Mariam Megvineti and with the participation of Anano Makharadze, is the voice (voices)
from the past and the cry of those who are not alive any more. Voice perhaps from hell and voice of living
people, the voice that can still be heard today.
This is the voice of a person who is stuck in the ruins or in prison, attached to the place, to himself, to his
destiny, the echo of the past, which is heard again and again today and is also the harbinger of a new birth and
which we must not only listen to, but also create voices for it.

Theatre Company Haraki was founded in 2019. The company's main working principles are
research, collaboration, and experimentation. The team consists of 11 members - stage
director, manager, playwriter and 6 actors - all the works of the company is a result of
combined efforts of the team.
Haraki often hosts other theater groups whose vision is similar to Haraki's and strives not to
limit itself to theater activities but to be an open, active and critical cultural space in the city
The goal of the team is to engage in the process and as a result of this process create a work
that serves self-awareness and finding new points of contact with society. The theater was
opened on May 15, 2021 in the Wine Factory , Petriashvili #1- the city heart. The theater is
an independent organization from the beginning to the end and is nourished by its own funds
and enthusiasm.
