About the performance:
Otaraant window’s only son Giorgi decides to bea retaliate in Ex-Lord ‘s house sorrow deos/not give rest to the self-righteous window. The establishment of the theater is one of the most important events of the 19th century in Georgian history.
On May 1st, 8th, July 11th and August 7th in 1845, the comedy lovers had staged the comedy Inexperience, or Temporarily Separated from Love by Dimitri Megvinetukhutsesi.
The process of restoring Georgian theater and the development of Georgian dramaturgy started from Gori. The process was headed by Giorgi Eristavi, who, together with his associates, premiered his play Divorce in Tbilisi on January 14th, 1850.
According to the recent research, the Gori Theater's official date of birth is July 26, 1865, with the premire of the comedy Stingy.
Noticeably, many women have participated in Gori's performanc art, while in other places as well as Tbilisi women avoided such kind of activities.
At the end of 1939, the new building with 500 seats was built and was later named after Giorgi Eristavi. Since its establishment, Erisavi’s Theater has hosted a number of celebrity actors and directors. Till this day the theater is still actively pursuing creative artistic goals.
