Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre will present very first collaboration with world-renowned dance organisation Studio Wayne McGregor.
In October 2019, Studio Wayne McGregor will be in residence in Tbilisi to create a new outdoor, site-specific dance work with the local community. We are seeking performers to take part in this exciting project. Participation is on to all, from those with no previous dance or performance experience to student or professional dancers. To take part you just need enthusiasm, commitment and an interest in moving and meeting new people.
To find out more about the project you are invited to attend a taster workshop led by artists from Studio Wayne McGregor at The Marjanishvili Theatre on Wednesday 24 July 13.00 – 15.00.
If you choose to commit to the project you will be asked to attend rehearsals each day from Monday 30 September - Friday 4 October 2019 (times tbc). Performances will take place on Saturday 5 October in Rike Park as part of the Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre.

About the Project!
The collaboration between SWM and Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre is part of the UK/Georgia 2019: New Horizons combines events and activities which will run from September – December 2019 to celebrate the cultural connections between both countries.
The Program aims to reach new audiences broaden horizons and foster cultural exchange and the flow of ideas.
